- This is the only episode in which Rudy and Mr. Beakman do not have a speaking role.
- Missy and Elliot are the only residents of 3rd & Bird not seen in this episode. However, Missy's pear house is shown covered with snow at the beginning of the episode.
- Ziggy is the only minor character introduced in this episode to be named. All other Jamaican animals seen never speak or mention their names.
